Our History
In 1985, the Oclan boutique opens its doors in Québec City: a chic shop offering high-end clothing for men and women. Then in 1989, facing a difficult time for Québec, Jean-François Renaud, the owner, launches an advertising campaign with a single message: "Fuck la mode." The irony? A brand born from fashion, that rejects fashion... and is today more fashionable than ever. Over 1,000,000 units sold, worn by the likes of Céline Dion, Vanessa Paradis, and Lenny Kravitz — and yet, through it all, just one address: Fucklamode has remained a one-of-a-kind brand in Québec City, found nowhere else.
